Hausa Koko is a spicy millet porridge, originating as Ghanaian street food. Culturally, it is prepared as a breakfast recipe or a late afternoon meal. Koko can be eaten with bread, koose, waffles and other sides.
Cooking Directions:
- Fetch 375ml of water into sauce pan and put on fire to boil
- Take two table spoonful of flour and mix with 12ml of water, stir to smoothen and pour into boiling water on fire
- Stir continuously until it's thick and free from lumps
- Add sugar and milk to taste if desired
Serve with peanut, bread, koose or akala
